What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?
According to Malta’s regulations, you must be 21 years or older to rent any
vehicle
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A pre-authorization is taken as a security deposit. This amount is not
charged, only temporarily blocked on your card.
It remains a pending transaction for 18–20 working days to cover potential fines
(e.g., speeding or parking violations), which may arrive by post after your rental.
What about insurance and excess?
• Standard insurance includes a €500 excess (pre-authorization).
• You can reduce the deposit to €150 by paying €15 per day for extra insurance.

What if no one is at the office when I arrive?

What are the parking rules in Malta?
• White lines: Free parking
• Yellow or double yellow lines: No parking allowed
• Blue lines: Reserved for disabled parking
What happens if I receive a fine?
Clients are responsible for all government-issued fines (e.g., speeding or illegal
parking). An administration fee will also be applied.
Do you provide helmets?
Yes. Two helmets are provided with every scooter or quad bike rental.
Can two people ride a 50cc scooter?
No. 50cc scooters are for one person only. Passengers are not allowed.
What is your fuel policy?
Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when it was picked up.
How do I return a vehicle at the airport?
Our team will explain the return process during pickup. You may also call our

What payment methods do you accept?
Cash deposits are not accepted. Accept debit and credit cards only.
