Welcome to Baron Car and Scooter Hire. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following terms:
1.Rental Agreement
- The rental agreement is a contract between Baron Car and Scooter Hire (referred to as “the Company”) and the person renting the vehicle (referred to as “the Renter”).
2. Eligibility
- The Renter must be at least 21 years old for car rentals and 21 years old for scooter rentals.
- The Renter must possess a valid driver’s license, held for at least one year prior to the rental date.
- International Renters must have a valid international driving permit in addition to their home country driver’s license.
3. Vehicle Condition and Use
- The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when rented, except for ordinary wear and tear.
- The Renter agrees not to use the vehicle for illegal activities, racing, towing, or driving off-road.
- Smoking and carrying pets in the vehicle are prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the Company.
4. Rental Period
- The rental period is specified in the rental agreement.
- Late returns may be subject to additional charges as per the Company’s rate schedule.
5. Payment and Deposits
- Full payment for the rental period is required at the time of vehicle pick-up.
- A security deposit may be required, which will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle, subject to any additional charges for damages or late return.
6. Insurance and Liability
- Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental price. Additional insurance options are available at an extra cost.
- The Renter is responsible for any damages not covered by insurance, including the deductible amount in case of an accident.
- The Renter agrees to indemnify the Company against any third-party claims arising from the use of the vehicle during the rental period.
